Order Process

Web Order Process

We have a very simple order process that will only take a maximum of 7 steps.

Step 1

Contact us via email or via telephone and give us as much information as possible concerning your project. We will then peruse this information and depending on the clarity of the information that you have provided move to either step 2 or step 3.

Step 2

If we are unsure about certain information that you have provided use we will contact you to ensure that we fully understand your requirements.  We can do this over the phone but we prefer to make use of Skype for this.

Step 3

We will submit a non-obligation quote and proposal that will remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Step 4

Upon your acceptance of the quotation and once the 40% deposit has cleared in our bank account we will then proceed with your website as outlined within the proposal.  We normally start the design process within seven days due to existing projects that need to be completed first.

Step 5

A draft copy will be made available on our servers or on your server depending from site to site for you to use and ensure that the functionality that you required is present in your site and that the design and layout is what you require.

Step 6

You will have 7 working days from the completion date of this demo phase to contact us to make the necessary changes. Please note that this must be within reason as we will not re-do the website from scratch again as we strictly adhere to your first contact requests. If no changes are requested after the 7 days demo period LabRats will accept that you have approved of the website and you will be invoiced the full and final settlement.

Step 7

Once the changes for the demo have been made and the final payment has cleared into our bank account we will then activate your site to the general public or at a specific date for example official launch dates etc. If there are any web design faults that appear after this period we will make the necessary changes to ensure that your site is 100% functional.

Please note:

That we do not cover any changes that are required due to the ongoing evolution of web browsing software. However if it is a small quick fix we will gladly make the changes for you, normally at no charge. We test our website with the latest releases of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome. We also do test for backward compatibility of browsers.  With regards to Internet Explorer we only test backwards to Version 7 and warn clients that they need to upgrade their windows system and Internet Explorer. Some banks no longer support Internet Explorer version 6 anymore either due to security vulnerabilities

Any additional functionality that your require that was not specified in your initial quote application will be charged for separately.
